Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

Job Description

• Work primarily in the Operating Room setting.
• Use and be competent with Philips Azurion and Siemens equipment platforms.
• Perform arterial and venous access using Ultrasound.
• Procedures include stroke thrombectomy, embolization, kyphoplasty, fistulagram, arteriogram with intervention, venogram with intervention, dialysis access, venous access, Y90, chest port placement, nephrostomy tube placement, PTC, g-tube placement, and TIPS.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in South Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
• ARRT certification
• Experience with stroke thrombectomy, embolization, kyphoplasty, fistulagram, venogram with intervention, dialysis access, venous access, Y90, nephrostomy tube placement, and PTC

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Proof of I9 and E-Verify or attestation.
• 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start.
• Required federal exclusions and sanctions checks (EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG).
• Education verification or diploma proof.
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray per facility guidelines.
• Required immunizations or titers: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella.
• Drug screening (5 panel urine or hair) within 90 days of start.
• COVID vaccination series or approved exemption.
• Flu vaccination or declination documentation during flu season.
• Proof of 2 clinical references.
• Verification of 7 years of work history (attestation accepted only for prior facility workers).
• Completion of facility-specific orientation and competency exams.

Additional Information

• Time off requests evaluated case-by-case.
• Block scheduling not applicable.
• Online orientation and photo submission required prior to start.
• Respirator questionnaire must be completed and brought to orientation.
• Various competency and safety checklists must be completed as part of onboarding.

This position is ideal for experienced Interventional Radiology Technologists comfortable with advanced imaging equipment and a variety of interventional procedures, willing to work call and weekend hours in a travel contract role.
