Medical Lab Technician - Travel/Contract

Location: Lebanon, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Four 10-hour days per week (7:30 AM - 5:00 PM), scheduled Monday through Friday with flexibility required
• Work at two different facilities approximately 20 minutes apart, alternating days or weeks between locations
• Must work at least one holiday during the contract
• Charting system: Meditech Expanse (experience preferred)
• No parking cost

Required Qualifications

• Medical Lab Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience
• Medical Lab Technician experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel assignment as a Medical Lab Technician
• High School diploma or equivalent

Additional Information

• Locals within a 50-mile radius are accepted and considered local for rate differential purposes
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification required if assigned to ER or applicable units
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP) certifications required as applicable by unit assignment
• Facility-specific training and documentation may be required depending on unit assignment

Notes

• Prior travel experience is required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Must be flexible to work at two different locations on alternating schedules
• Fit testing excludes candidates with full beards; goatees usually acceptable
• Onsite fit testing is a last resort after exhausting other options
