Job Description

Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least 1 year of experience in Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics. First-time travel therapists are accepted. Candidates must be physically able to work at an elevation of 7,000 feet.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Arizona
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to meet physical demands at high altitude (7,000 feet elevation)
• Background checks and verifications required within 30 days of start
• Drug testing (10-panel) within 30 days of start and updated annually
• Immunizations and health documents required, including:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (preferred within last 10 years or declination)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (proof of immunity or vaccination)
  • Hepatitis B (proof of immunity, vaccination series, or declination)
  • Varicella (proof of immunity or vaccination)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or facility-specific declination form
  • COVID vaccination or declination with facility-specific form

Scheduling & Hours

• Facility may call off up to 6 times during the 13-week assignment period

• Photo for badge and security forms required before start
• Fit mask (N95) testing required within 1 year and updated annually; onsite fit testing available if needed
• References: Two professional references required (one from most recent employer within 1 year)
