Job Description

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic MRI procedures to support quality healthcare services.
• Must have experience with Siemens MRI equipment.
• Procedures include imaging of Abdomen/Pelvis, Chest, Head/Neck, Breast (preferred), Cardiovascular (preferred), Spine/Musculoskeletal, Diffusion (non-brain), Perfusion, Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing, Multiplanar Reconstruction, Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, T-1 and T-2 Weighted Images, Maximum Intensity Projection (preferred).
• Follow isolation precautions.
• Patient population includes all ages from neonate to older adult.
• Work settings include inpatient and/or outpatient.
• Schedule: 7am-3:30pm with occasional weekends and on-call duties.
• Must have experience with Epic electronic health record system.

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year.
• Current ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience with Siemens MRI equipment.
• Proficient in MRI procedures including Spine/Musculoskeletal, Diffusion (non-brain), Perfusion, Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing, Multiplanar Reconstruction, Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, and T-1 and T-2 Weighted Images.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
• Must meet Florida AHCA Level II fingerprinting requirements.
• Physical exam within 6 months of start, signed by DO, MD, NP, APRN, or PA, confirming ability to perform job functions without restrictions.
• Negative QuantiFERON TB test within 6 months or chest X-ray if prior positive.
• Up-to-date immunizations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella.
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months.
• Annual fit test for approved masks (3M 1860 Regular or Small).
• Completion of required online orientation and compliance modules.
• Two professional references from within the last 2 years.
• Annual skills checklist.

Additional Requirements

• Must carry government-issued photo ID during work hours.
• Background check within 6 months including all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years.
• Completion of multiple facility-specific online training modules including but not limited to:

  • Privacy Policy
  • AHCA Affidavit and Demographic Information Sheet
  • Recognizing Impairment in the Workplace (for nursing only)
  • Clinical/Online Orientation
  • Annual Risk Management
  • Compliance & Ethics Training
  • Code of Conduct
  • Emergency Management Education
  • Workplace Harassment Prevention
  • Infection control and safety modules relevant to nursing and clinical staff
• Badge photo required (passport-style, color, white background, no obstructions).

Notes

• Locals within a 60-mile radius are considered.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Experience with Siemens MRI equipment is mandatory.
• Preferred experience includes breast and cardiovascular imaging.
• Candidates must be prepared for occasional weekend and on-call shifts.
