Role Overview

Strong Neuro experience required. The unit has high-acuity neuro patients and includes ICU overflow.

Unit / Clinical Setting

• Cardiovascular, multi-trauma, gun shots, stroke and STEMI center, motor vehicle accidents, ortho
• Level 2 Trauma
• Thrombectomy-capable stroke center
• CABG/Valve/IABP, CRRT, sepsis, surgical
• 12 overflow beds
• Float scope: PCU and ICU overflow

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Neuro ICU experience with 2 years of experience
• Neuro ICU experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• Fire Card
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
