Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Madison, Wisconsin
- 13-week assignment
- 12-hour day or night shifts
- Schedule includes every other weekend, some holidays, and no call
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- CVICU (2 years of experience)
- CVICU experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
- Experience with NextStage CVVH machine
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a Cardiothoracic Surgery area or an Acuity Adaptable area
Schedule Details
- 0700-1930 or 1900-0730 shifts
- 36 hours per week
Compliance / Onboarding
- Background check and Wisconsin caregiver screening required
- E-Verify required
- Employment application required
- 2 clinical references within the last 3 years
- Annual skills checklist required
- Telemetry exam study guide and pass/fail testing acknowledgement required as applicable
- Health screening and immunization documentation required, including TB, MMR, varicella, hepatitis B, flu, and drug screening requirements as applicable to direct patient care roles
