Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer

Role Overview

• Travel/contract role in Spokane, Washington.
• Temp-to-perm assignment.
• Start date: ASAP.
• Shift: 5x8 days.
• No weekends, no nights, and no major holidays.
• First-timers accepted.
• On-call not required.
• Floating within scope may be required.
• Scrubs: any color, no print.

Unit / Setting

• High Risk Pregnancy Clinic.
• 6 ultrasound rooms at one medical center and 2 rooms at another hospital.
• Sonographers perform 7–9 detailed ultrasounds daily and report findings to 3 MFM physicians.

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography experience.
• Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography experience within the last year.
• BLS.
• ARDMS OB/GYN.
• NT.
• Experience in an outpatient setting.
• OB-GYN experience.
• Experience with Epic.

Procedures / Clinical Scope

• Assists with amniocentesis, amnio reduction, CVS, and PUBS.
• Patients are often high risk due to maternal or fetal conditions, so detailed ultrasound imaging experience is important.
