Medical Surgical - Neuro RN

Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Saint Cloud, Minnesota
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Every other weekend rotation
• Rotating holidays
• On-call requirements are to be determined by the unit

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule and Work Setting

• 36 hours per week
• May float to like units, including surgical care, medical units, and inpatient rehab units
• Uses team nursing on the Neuroscience Spine unit and primary nurse model in the Neuro Progressive Care Unit

• First-time travelers are accepted
• Finalized requested time off must be included with submission
• No requested time off is allowed during the first week of the assignment
• No more than 10 days of requested time off per assignment

Unit Highlights

• 45-bed Neuroscience Spine unit
• 8-bed Neuro Progressive Care Unit
• Ceiling lifts in 20 patient rooms
• Neuro Progressive Care Unit includes ICP monitoring, arterial line monitoring, cardiac monitoring, continuous EEG monitoring, and lumbar drainage system capabilities
• Remote cardiac monitoring is available in all patient rooms
