Overview
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio
- Setting: Cardiovascular ICU
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Nights, 3x12s only, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours: 36 per week
- Holiday expectation: Must work at least every other holiday
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- CVICU (1.5 years of experience)
- CVICU experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
Assessment / Orientation Requirements
- ECG rhythm recognition test
- SafeMedicate assessment
- Baseline competency exam in medication and ECG interpretation during orientation
Additional Notes
- Travel experience may count toward the recent CVICU experience requirement
- Certifications expiring within 30 days of start must be renewed before start
- Background check, fingerprinting, education verification, references, and health documentation are required before start
