Assignment Details

• Travel/contract role
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
• 36 hours per week
• Ratios: 1:4
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend, but not greater than every other
• Locals accepted
• Pending license accepted
• RTO over 2 weeks needs approval
• Client may cancel up to 1 shift per 4-week assignment, 2 shifts per 8-week assignment, or 3 shifts per 13-week assignment

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oregon
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• 1 year of experience in Med Surg / Telemetry
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
• Experience working with Neuro Trauma patients
• One completed travel assignment
• Experience with cardiac or critical care drips (nitro, Cardizem, amiodarone, Nicardipine, other IMCU LOC gtts)
• Interpretation of cardiac rhythms
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Non-invasive airway management
• Peripheral line care/management
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• Neurotrauma stepdown experience with NIHHS certification
• Experience as a traveler
• IV start

Float Scope

• May float within scope as needed, including to West Valley Hospital

Unit / Setting

• Surgical Neuro Trauma care unit
• 30-bed unit
• Located on the fourth floor of Building A
• Brand new unit that opened in July 2022
• Planned future transition to a Surgical Neuro Trauma ICU/IMCU unit
