Role Overview
- Travel/Contract RN position in Madison, Wisconsin.
- 13-week assignment.
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00.
- 36 hours per week.
- 1st time travelers are welcome.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin.
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience).
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Experience working with Cardiac patients.
Preferred Qualifications
- NIHSS.
- IMC experience.
Clinical Skills / Experience
- MS/Tele.
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
- Post MI care.
- Pre/post cardiac surgery care.
- IV insulin protocols.
- Feeding tube care and management.
- Renal failure care.
- Pre/post hemodialysis management.
- IV therapy.
- Chest tubes.
- Nasal cannulas.
- Wound care.
Additional Notes
- May need to participate in holiday coverage.
- Navy blue scrubs.
- Travelers must shave for mask fit testing; CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided.
