Registered Nurse (CVICU) - Travel Position

Job Description
- Provide care for immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in the ICU.
- Manage high acuity patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
- Competent in ventilator management, arterial lines, spinal drains, ECG interpretation and monitoring, temporary pacemakers, and vasoactive/inotropic drip titrations.
- Trauma Level One experience required.
- Navy blue scrubs required.
- Competency test required within 24 hours of submission.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience, with CVICU experience within the last year.
- Experience working with Level One Trauma patients.
- Proficiency in ventilator management.
- Experience with arterial lines (a-lines).
- Experience with spinal drains.
- Proficiency in advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
- Experience with temporary pacemakers.
- Experience with vasoactive and inotropic drip titrations.
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Work Schedule
- 36 hours per week
