Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility

Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (12-hour shifts)
Hours per Week: 36 hours


Job Details

  • Facility census: 42 beds
  • Nurse-to-patient ratios vary; day shift ratio ranges from 1:21 up to 1:42
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: PCC
  • Weekend and holiday work required every other week
  • Orientation includes 1 day classroom plus up to 3 days floor training with staff
  • Patient population: Elderly with multiple diagnoses

Required Qualifications

  • Valid LPN / LVN license in South Dakota
  • Minimum of 1 year of Long Term Care experience within the last year
  • Skilled Nursing experience
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

  • Backouts or quits with less than 14 days’ notice will incur a $500 fee
