• Nights, 12-hour shifts
• Multiple start times available

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• 2 years of recent experience in the specialty
• Travel experience required
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC, unless waived for strong ER experience
• EPIC experience required

Schedule Requirements

• Every other weekend
• Every other holiday

Unit Details

• 35-bed emergency department with 2 trauma bays
• Fast Track area with 8 beds
• Separate triage area; travelers may perform triage using the ESI triage algorithm
• Separate psych/seclusion rooms
• Average daily volume: 111 patients
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4
• Common cases include trauma, strokes, STEMI, mental health, pediatric respiratory illness, fractures, and gunshot wounds
• All critical care drips are used
• Nurses monitor and read telemetry strips
• X-ray/CT is next door
• No call
• No floating

• One 12-hour shift
