Job Opportunity: RN Medicine Specialty (Stepdown/ICU)

Position Overview

Provide nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with a range of health problems from simple to complex.
Work under general supervision.
Responsible for an assigned group of patients.
Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments.
Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
Monitor physiological data and intervene as necessary.
Administer medications and manage intravenous infusions and blood products.
Deliver competent patient care.
Communicate care plans with patients and families during hospitalization and at discharge.
Make referrals regarding patient care needs.
Delegate tasks to support staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience and Skills

Valid RN license in Oklahoma.
Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year.
Experience in Stepdown nursing.
Med Surg nursing experience.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Contract Length

Approximately 13 weeks (91 days converted to weeks).

Prior Travel Experience
