Registered Nurse — Labor and Delivery

Location

• Portage, Wisconsin

Job Type

• Travel
• 13-week contract
• 36 guaranteed hours per week

Shift

• 12-hour day/night variable shifts
• 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Schedule Expectations

• 2 weekends out of 4 as needed
• Holiday rotations
• No on-call or back-up call requirements

Required Qualifications

• Wisconsin RN license
• BLS
• Advanced NRP
• 2 years of OB experience with Labor & Delivery experience
• 1 prior travel assignment
• Labor and Delivery competency

Preferred Qualifications

• AWHONN
• PALS
• Critical access hospital experience

Clinical Setting / Duties

• Labor and Delivery / OB unit
• May float to Med/Surg, ER, or ICU for basic support tasks if needed
• May also float to other locations in the Southern region if needed
• No patient assignment when floated to those areas
• No isolation room assignments when floated to those areas

Charting

• EPIC

Additional Notes

• Must not request more than 7 days of time off
• Low census hours may apply
• Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours
• Flu-season masking is required for travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination
