OR Nurse - Surgery (Texas, Mesquite)

Job Details

• Location: Mesquite, Texas
• Shift: Days/Mid shift (06:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• On-Call: Yes, rotating call 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month
• Charting System: EPIC
• Scrubs: Any color allowed; hospital provides scrubs

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years preferred in Orthopedics (total knees, hips, shoulders, ankles), Podiatry, Gynecology, and General/Laparoscopic procedures
• Prefer RN with circulating experience; ability to scrub is a bonus

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
• ACLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
