Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg (Days)

Location: Mattoon, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Description

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care delivery.
• Provide clinical leadership to the patient care team during the assigned shift.
• Work a 12-hour day shift.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of Med Surg experience.
• Active Illinois RN license verified through Nursys.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required within 30 days of start.
• Work history and skills checklist current to within 1 year, pertinent to Med Surg/Telemetry specialty.
• Two supervisory reference forms completed with dates of employment listed.

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible.
• Applicants who were direct employees of the facility within the last 2 years are not eligible.

Facility & Work Environment

• Utilizes Cerner EMR system.
• Dress code: Royal Blue Scrubs.

Notes

• Nonbillable hours: 16 hours.
• Overtime and holiday pay at 1.25x regular rate.
• Call back pay at 1.3x regular rate.
• On-call pay available.
