Job Opportunity: Technologist - X-Ray (Days)

Job Description

• Perform X-Ray technologist duties during day shifts.
• COVID vaccinations are strongly encouraged.
• Orientation includes 8 hours non-billable time.
• Holiday pay multiplier applies.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of current X-Ray experience.
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license.
• Active ARRT (R) certification.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance. The panel must include (but is not limited to): Amphetamines (including methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Cocaine Metabolite, Opiates (codeine, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone), Phencyclidine, Methadone, Methaqualone, Propoxyphene, Buprenorphine, and 6-Acetylmorphine.
• Completion of verbal de-escalation training from approved providers is required for onboarding and clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in level 1 trauma hospitals.
• Previous or current travel experience.

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Work history documentation.
• Skills checklist updated within the last year.
• One signed supervisory reference from the past two years.
• Current NY State Rad Tech license documentation.
• Active ARRT (BR) certification documentation.
• Active BLS certification documentation.
• Driver’s license documentation.
• Permanent address must be included in profile and must match driver’s license/state ID.
• Travelers from the following New York counties are not eligible for this assignment: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, Washington.

Additional Information

• Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified before profile upload; no more than 5 days of time off will be approved.
• Requests for time off after profile upload will not be approved.
