Role Summary

Registered Nurse responsible for assigned patient care on the shift
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care using age-specific criteria
Assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Cardine, Dobutamine, Lasix, Bumex) including knowledge of titration and application
Experience with telemetry and knowledge of heart rhythms

Additional Assignment Details

Must be committed to reporting for all assigned shifts and be on time
Travelers are expected to float to units within their scope of practice and skill set
