Job Opportunity: ER Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Fayetteville, Georgia
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Position Details

• Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Call: None
• Floating: May be required to float within the facility and scope of practice
• Holiday Work:

  • If 1 major holiday falls during assignment, expected to work it
  • If 2 major holidays fall, expected to work both
  • If 3 major holidays fall, expected to work 2 of them
• Major Holidays Include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day
• Orientation: Bi-weekly schedule; full compliance required to start on time or assignment start may be delayed by 2 weeks
• Non-Billable Orientation Hours: Proportional to contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8 weeks)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with at least 1 year within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current certifications:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Proficiency with Epic Electronic Health Record system

• Compliance: Full compliance with all documentation and credentialing required to start on time
• Local candidates accepted at same rate as travelers

• RTO (Return to Office): Maximum of 7 days per contract
