CT Tech Travel/Contract Position

Location: Portland, Oregon
Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital, Adult Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital
Shift: 4x10 hour days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Start Date: ASAP, any Monday
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Requirements

• Valid CT Technologist license in Oregon
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT CT certification
• BLS certification

Schedule & Work Conditions

• Weekend requirement: Yes (includes Friday through Monday)
• On-call: Not anticipated
• Block schedule accommodation: Yes
• Guaranteed hours: Contracted hours, with mandatory cancellation terms (may be cancelled one shift per two-week pay period without cause)

• Charting system: Epic
• Parking: Free in unrestricted spaces, EV charging available
• Scrub color: Any color except all black or camo print

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Criminal background check (7-year search minimum, including SSN trace, nationwide, sex offender, county, federal, FACIS L3, and international if applicable)
• Physical exam within 1 year prior to start
• Immunizations and titers:

  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years or signed declination (Td not accepted)
  • Negative TB test (PPD, Qgold, or Tspot) within 1 year or negative chest x-ray if prior positive
  • Annual TB questionnaire
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella: Immune titer or 2 documented vaccines (declination allowed if titer low)
  • Hepatitis B: Immune titer and 3-dose vaccine series or signed declination
  • Varicella: Immune titer or 2 vaccines (declination allowed if titer low)
• Negative drug screen within 12 months of start (marijuana excluded for Washington facilities)
• Seasonal flu vaccine or signed declination (required annually from Oct 1 to Mar 31)
• COVID vaccine documentation or declination
• Respirator medical clearance annually (RespSafety virtual questionnaire)
• Two professional references within 3 years, supervisory or above

Additional Notes

• Travelers must complete any assigned education within one week of assignment
• Primary source verification required for certifications and licenses
• Facility-specific policies, procedures, and floating acknowledgement must be reviewed and signed prior to start
• No return-to-office (RTO) within the first week of assignment; maximum 7 days RTO allowed per assignment

This position is ideal for experienced CT Technologists with Siemens experience who are comfortable with a weekend-heavy schedule and floating within a large acute care hospital system.
