Description
CT Tech Travel/Contract Position
Location: Portland, Oregon
Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital, Adult Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital
Shift: 4x10 hour days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Start Date: ASAP, any Monday
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Requirements
- Valid CT Technologist license in Oregon
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT CT certification
- BLS certification
Schedule & Work Conditions
- Weekend requirement: Yes (includes Friday through Monday)
- On-call: Not anticipated
- Block schedule accommodation: Yes
- Guaranteed hours: Contracted hours, with mandatory cancellation terms (may be cancelled one shift per two-week pay period without cause)

- Total staffed beds: 539
- Charting system: Epic
- Parking: Free in unrestricted spaces, EV charging available
- Scrub color: Any color except all black or camo print
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Criminal background check (7-year search minimum, including SSN trace, nationwide, sex offender, county, federal, FACIS L3, and international if applicable)
- Physical exam within 1 year prior to start
- Immunizations and titers:
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years or signed declination (Td not accepted)
- Negative TB test (PPD, Qgold, or Tspot) within 1 year or negative chest x-ray if prior positive
- Annual TB questionnaire
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella: Immune titer or 2 documented vaccines (declination allowed if titer low)
- Hepatitis B: Immune titer and 3-dose vaccine series or signed declination
- Varicella: Immune titer or 2 vaccines (declination allowed if titer low)
- Negative drug screen within 12 months of start (marijuana excluded for Washington facilities)
- Seasonal flu vaccine or signed declination (required annually from Oct 1 to Mar 31)
- COVID vaccine documentation or declination
- Respirator medical clearance annually (RespSafety virtual questionnaire)
- Two professional references within 3 years, supervisory or above
Additional Notes
- Travelers must complete any assigned education within one week of assignment
- Primary source verification required for certifications and licenses
- Facility-specific policies, procedures, and floating acknowledgement must be reviewed and signed prior to start
- No return-to-office (RTO) within the first week of assignment; maximum 7 days RTO allowed per assignment
This position is ideal for experienced CT Technologists with Siemens experience who are comfortable with a weekend-heavy schedule and floating within a large acute care hospital system.
