Overview
- Travel/contract role in Orange, California
- 13-week assignment
- 3x12 schedule
- Variable shifts: 7:00–19:00 and 19:00–7:00
- Start dates available: 11/30 and 12/14
- No requested time off
- Must be available to work all holidays
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Pediatrics ER - Emergency Room experience
Job Details
- Pediatric emergency department role
- Level I trauma center
- High-volume setting with walk-in patients and no designated holding unit
- Fast track area and 3–5 triage areas
- Patients up to 25 years of age
- ED tech support is available
- Team runs internal codes
