Interventional Radiology RN

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Portland, Oregon
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Call is required
• Department is Interventional Radiology

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oregon
• Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
• 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
• ED - Emergency Department experience
• Experience with Epic

Preferred

• Experience with IR, including body and neuro procedures
• Experience caring for patients undergoing procedures and associated complications
• Knowledge or experience with radiation safety and fluoroscopy
• Knowledge or experience with IR procedures including GIB, stroke, and trauma
• Experience as a Charge RN in ICU, PACU, or ED
• Experience as a member of a Shared Governance council or committee
• Stroke education: 8 hours annually

Working Conditions

• Must be able to ride the Arial tram throughout the day
• Must be able to move throughout the entire shift
• Must be able to stay focused while assignments change several times during the shift
• Weekend and after-hours call required
• Must be able to report to work within 30 minutes of being called

• A valid government-issued photo ID is required on the first day to obtain the ID badge
• Must review and sign the professional appearance policy before start
• Must sign the job description before start
• Must complete required RN onboarding modules before start
