Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Madison, Wisconsin
- Day/evening schedule, Monday–Friday
- No weekends or holidays
- Shift options: 5x8 or 4x10
- Start times range from 0700 to 0800
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide recovery care
- Perform intraprocedural nurse sedation and documentation
- Support IR and OR radiology needs
- Assist with MRI, ultrasound, CT, and nuclear medicine procedures, including IV placement, telemetry monitoring, and Foley placement
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
- PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- Imaging experience
- Radiology experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Additional Notes
- Telemetry testing includes a pass/fail requirement
- Background check and Wisconsin caregiver screening are required before start
- Flu season vaccination or approved exemption is required when applicable
- Drug screening is required for clinical candidates
