PreOp Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Madison, Wisconsin
Day/evening schedule, Monday–Friday
No weekends or holidays
Shift options: 5x8 or 4x10
Start times range from 0700 to 0800
Contract length: 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities

Prepare patients for procedures and provide recovery care
Perform intraprocedural nurse sedation and documentation
Support IR and OR radiology needs
Assist with MRI, ultrasound, CT, and nuclear medicine procedures, including IV placement, telemetry monitoring, and Foley placement

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
Imaging experience
Radiology experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association

Additional Notes

Telemetry testing includes a pass/fail requirement
Background check and Wisconsin caregiver screening are required before start
Flu season vaccination or approved exemption is required when applicable
Drug screening is required for clinical candidates
