Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Reidsville, North Carolina.
• 3x12s, nights, 7p-7a.
• Every-other-weekend rotation.
• Float required between Cone Health facilities.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Holiday coverage is required for one winter holiday pair: Black Friday or Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, or NYE or NYD.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina.
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience with 2 years of experience.
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• NIHSS.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Driver's License.
• Experience with Epic.

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS.
• NIH.

Clinical Setting

• Acutely ill medical-surgical and orthopedic patients.
• Patient population includes acute/chronic respiratory illness, post-op general surgery, post-op general GYN surgery, post-op total knee and hip replacements, orthopedics, acute and chronic pain, active GI bleeding, CHF/pulmonary edema, diabetes with hyperglycemic and hypoglycemic conditions, renal failure, drug overdose, CIWA below 7, suicidal patients, arrhythmia, radioactive therapy, uncontrolled or new onset seizures, and stable COVID patients.

• Department may administer Heparin and TNA IV drips.
