Critical Care RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
• Night shift: 5x8 hours, 23:00–7:30.
• 40 hours per week.
• 13-week contract.
• Ratios: 1:2.
• Critical care unit focused on medical/surgical and cardiac critical care patients.
• Variety of med/surg/cardiac ICU patients.
• Teaching hospital with Level 3 trauma designation.
• 317 staffed beds.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience).
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year.
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• NIHSS.
• Every other weekend availability.
• Pending license accepted.
• Must be able to float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Criminal background check required within 1 year of start.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 1 year of start.
• HHS/OIG required within 1 year of start.
• Primary source verification of license required.
• Competency exam required.
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required.
• Skills checklist required annually.
• Physical exam within 12 months prior to start.
• Tdap required.
• Negative TB or chest X-ray required.
• Rubeola, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, and RespSafety clearance required.
• Drug testing required within 1 year of start.
• Minnesota DHS NetStudy fingerprint clearance required.
• BCA check required.
• Photo for badge required within 48 hours of signing.
• Preorientation modules/online eLearning required before start.

• Locals not accepted; 100-mile radius restriction.
