Role

• ICU RN
• Float position; may be floated to different ICU floors, floated down up to 100% of shifts, and may be floated to lower acuity including Tele floor
• Based in the Float Pool Pod A ICU
• Ratios: 1:2

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Critical Care Float (1 year of experience)
• Critical Care Float experience within the last year
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
• NIHSS
• Open to working 3 of 5 major holidays
• Open to working weekends; minimum every other weekend, and weekends may exceed this to meet unit needs
• RTO must be included at time of submission
• Pending license not accepted
• First-timers accepted

Schedule

• Night shift
• 3x12 hours
• 19:00 to 7:30
• 36 hours per week
• Guaranteed hours may be called off once per two-week pay period

Additional Notes

• Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered
• May be required to float to Providence Mission Laguna
• Epic is used for charting
• Free parking is available
