Labor and Delivery RN Travel

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Department uses AWS
• Overtime after 40 hours in a week
• Double time after 12 hours in a day

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting

Job Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, quality nursing care for assigned patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Develop and update care plans
• Teach patients and families about health needs and care
• Evaluate patient responses and modify care plans as needed
• Use equipment, instrumentation, and medications safely
• Delegate and supervise care team tasks within scope
• Advocate for patients and support informed decision-making
• Provide culturally competent, age-appropriate, ethical care
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, allied health professionals, and ancillary team members
