Description
Labor and Delivery RN Travel
Location
Fairfield, California
Contract
13 weeks
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Department uses AWS
- Overtime after 40 hours in a week
- Double time after 12 hours in a day
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
Job Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective, quality nursing care for assigned patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Develop and update care plans
- Teach patients and families about health needs and care
- Evaluate patient responses and modify care plans as needed
- Use equipment, instrumentation, and medications safely
- Delegate and supervise care team tasks within scope
- Advocate for patients and support informed decision-making
- Provide culturally competent, age-appropriate, ethical care
- Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, allied health professionals, and ancillary team members
