Job Summary

• Performs patient testing and administrative tasks in support of clinical laboratory activities.
• Handles quality control, equipment maintenance, routine and specialized laboratory testing, specimen and reagent preparation, and reporting/verification of results.
• May assist with troubleshooting equipment, test results, specimens, workflow, teaching, training, and technical support.

Required Qualifications

• Medical Technologist experience within the last year
• 1 year of Medical Technologist experience
• Bachelor of Science degree
• Gram stain experience
• Specimen plating or planting for microbiology

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Gram stain and specimen plating for microbiology
• Medical laboratory experience in biochemistry/microbiology
• MLT accepted instead of MT I
