Registered Nurse - Mother Baby

• Neptune, New Jersey

Contract

• 13 weeks
• Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• 3 of 6 holidays required
• No on-call requirement
• No float requirement

Role Summary

• Provides nursing care for mother-baby/postpartum patients, with more emphasis on postpartum than labor and delivery.
• Evaluates patients, develops and implements individualized plans of care, performs therapeutic nursing interventions, and documents care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• Post Partum (3 years of experience)
• Post Partum experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS
• NRP
• AWHONN-Advanced Certification or C-EFM Certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Labor and Delivery experience
• Antepartum experience

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN
• 5 years of experience
