Location: Lexington, Kentucky

Schedule

  • 3rd shift
  • 3x12s, 7p-7a
  • 36 hours per week

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Kentucky
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
  • BLS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN
  • Previous nursing experience
  • 3–5 years of experience preferred

Role Overview

  • Provides direct patient care on the unit, including assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, education, and care coordination
  • Performs comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments
  • Delegates and oversees patient care tasks appropriately
  • Supports discharge planning and patient/family teaching
  • Participates in unit-based activities and quality improvement efforts
