Contract

• 13 weeks
• Nights
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts

Required Qualifications

• Active RN role
• 2 years of medical-surgical telemetry experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS

Clinical Setting

• Adult and geriatric patients
• Medical-surgical telemetry float pool
• May care for cardiac, neuro, oncology, rehab, renal, bariatric, orthopedic, trauma, ED observation, urology post-surgical, general surgery post-appendectomy, gynecology, psych/detox, ENT, and general medicine patients
• May float to ICU, PCU/stepdown, and other acuity levels as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Titrate heparin drips
• Float throughout the assigned 60-mile zone
• Work across multiple units and facilities within the zone
• Be flexible with schedule changes and gap coverage

Scheduling

• Schedules are released 4–6 weeks in advance
• Weekend requirement: 6–9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
• May be asked to participate in holiday rotation
• Rare call or standby may be required

Other Notes

• Candidate interview includes the clinical team
• Must be in state for orientation week
• Housing is the traveler’s responsibility and must support the required 60-mile floating radius
