Sonographer - Nebraska, Lincoln

Job Details

  • Specialty: Sonography (RDMS in OB/GYN required; fetal echo (FE) preferred)
  • Location: Lincoln, Nebraska
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday; 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM Friday (40 hours per week)
  • Scrubs: Black pants with specified top color

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed anatomical surveys, fetal echocardiograms, biophysical profiles (BPP), fetal growth assessments, umbilical artery Dopplers, transvaginal ultrasounds, first trimester ultrasounds, and amniocentesis ultrasound guidance
  • Limit of 10 scans per day with a restricted number of complex scans
  • Report findings to in-office Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) provider
  • Use Viewpoint and Epic systems, GE E10 and Expert 22 ultrasound machines
  • No leadership or supervisory responsibilities
  • No IV insertion or related duties
  • No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements

Required Qualifications

  • ARDMS or RDMS certification
  • Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

  • No float assignments
  • No radiology assistant (RRA) duties
