Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Location: Greenville, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift (36 hours/week)
Schedule: Every other weekend required

Job Description

• Work in a rural community hospital's Labor & Delivery unit.
• Comfortable managing all areas of the birthing center including labor, mother/baby, newborn nursery, and postpartum care.
• Level 1 maternity unit with approximately 30 deliveries per month.
• Unit includes 4 labor and delivery rooms and 6 postpartum rooms.
• Staff are cross-trained across all maternity care areas.
• 24 hours of orientation provided.
• Charting systems used: Centricity and CPSI.
• Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Obstetrics (OB).

Additional Information

• No blocked shifts; schedule consists of 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week.
