RN Rehab

Overview

• Travel assignment in Conroe, Texas
• Unit: Inpatient Rehab
• 24-bed unit on the 3rd floor of the Main Tower
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Rehabilitation (1 year of experience)
• Rehabilitation experience within the last year
• BLS
• Telemetry experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS
• Medical/Telemetry experience or higher acuity

Unit Details

• Patient ratio: 1:6
• EMR: Expanse
• Equipment: Hill-Rom beds
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge, 4 RNs, 2 PCTs, OT/PT/ST, and a case manager
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge, 4 RNs, and 2 PCTs

Clinical Responsibilities

• PT/OT/ST for a total of 3 hours a day
• Patients may receive dialysis, blood administration, IVP medications, and remote telemetry monitoring
• No bedside surgical procedures

Floating

• May float to Med/Surg or Med/Surg tele

Schedule

• Every other weekend
• No on-call

Work Environment

• Collaborates closely with therapy departments
• Supports patient independence while maintaining a safe environment
• Follows standard inpatient precautions and policies, including fall precautions, HAIs, isolation, and care experience

Dress Code

• Royal Blue scrubs
