Unit

• Medical 4C
• 30 beds
• Med or med tele patients, cardiac overflow
• Floats on a rotational basis

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Experience in an inpatient setting
• Driver's License
• Experience and competence in drug titration
• Flu vaccination or Mercy-approved exemption required from November 1-April 1; declinations are not accepted

Schedule and Work Conditions

• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No call
• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week
• Blocked scheduling may be approved based on facility requirements
• RTO must be made up on the back end
• RTO is not approved in the first week of the assignment
• Holiday RTO: 1 request per assignment

Clinical / Unit Details

• Patient ratios vary: days 1:5-1:6, nights 1:6-1:7
• Equipment includes Tele, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps
• Uses EPIC
• Care includes post trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities

• Black scrubs required
• Anything but black scrubs is unacceptable
