Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
CVICU (2 years of experience)
CVICU experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Cardiac Critical Care experience greater than 2 years
CVPICU experience

Preferred Experience

Peritoneal dialysis skills
CRRT skills
ECMO bedside experience

Unit Details

Pediatric cardiac ICU
10 beds
1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio for critical care
Weekend schedule: 4 shifts per 4-week schedule

Clinical Focus

Post-op care with inotropic and vasopressor continuous infusions
IV fluids and chest tube management
Care of post-sternotomy/open chest patients
Moderate sedation
