Schedule

5x8 rotating days and varied shifts
May include weekends
No call

Required Qualifications

Ultrasound Technologist (2 years of experience)
Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
RCS or RVS
RDMS or RVT or RDCS

Preferred Experience

OBGYN
Small parts
Cardiovascular
Pediatrics

Job Responsibilities

Perform complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures
Work in two or more areas such as cardiac, vascular, or general ultrasound
Review images for identification, technique, and completeness
Train new department staff and sonography students
Mentor ultrasound students from a CAAHEP program
Participate in accreditation and re-accreditation processes
Perform additional duties as assigned, including equipment and lab checks and maintenance

Work Conditions

May float to other areas within competency
May be required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
Schedule may vary based on department needs and may include holidays and some call shifts
Exams may be performed in the ultrasound department or other departments/nursing floors as needed
