Unit Details

• Unit: Progressive Care Neuro Trauma
• Bed count: 23
• Patient ratio: 4:1
• Staffing: Day shift 6–7 RNs and 2 aides; night shift 6–7 RNs and 2 aides
• Equipment: Bedside monitors, end tidal O2 monitoring, high flow, chronic vents, subdural drains
• Common procedures: Chest tubes, EEGs

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Hampshire
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ACLS
• BLS
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• Step-down experience
• Telemetry experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Neuro experience
• Trauma experience
• NIHSS
• TNCC

Additional Details

• Team-oriented personality preferred
• Floating may include all inpatient units, including ICU and ED
• Weekend coverage every other weekend
• No on-call requirement
