Nuclear Med Tech - Nuclear Medicine

Location: Georgetown, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40 (no weekends or call)

Facility & Unit Overview

• Acute care hospital with 75 beds
• Department: Radiology / Nuclear Medicine
• Equipment: GE Infinia II
• EHR Systems: MedHost and NovaRad PACS
• Patient Population: Adolescent, adult, geriatric

Job Responsibilities & Skills

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures with a focus on cardiac imaging (heavy volume)
• IV placement required
• Preferred experience with Cardiac QGS/QPS software
• Handle a full spectrum of diagnoses and treatments
• Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Required Qualifications

• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Kentucky
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate’s Degree in a related field
• IV placement skills

Additional Information

• Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
• Dress code: Black scrubs; croc shoes are not allowed
