Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift contract requiring an active AK RN license and 2+ years of ICU experience.

Details

Night shift position in a Beacon Award-winning Intensive Care Unit
3 12-hour night shifts per week (19:00 start)
3 weekend shifts required per schedule period
Floating required to function as a nurse in slower periods
On-call not mandatory but helpful
Holiday coverage required

Requirements

Active AK RN license required prior to start
2+ years of ICU RN experience required, 5+ years preferred
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Additional Information

Work in an AACN Gold Beacon Award-winning ICU
Free private 1-bedroom housing available (pet units not available)
Vehicle recommended for transportation due to winter conditions
Candidates must mail fingerprints to the Alaska Department of Health and Services within 48 hours of offer acceptance
