RN - Med Surg Telemetry

Schedule

3x12 shifts
36 guaranteed hours per week
Weekend coverage required: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule period
Orientation is weekly
No block schedule requests
48-hour shifts may be considered but are not guaranteed

Unit Details

Medical-surgical telemetry unit
40 beds
Adult and geriatric patient population
Patient ratio: 1:6
Floating to IMC and ED is expected

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting

Preferred Qualifications

Preceptor experience
Charge experience

Additional Notes

Call is not routinely scheduled, though shifts may be flexed to on-call twice during the contract
Black scrubs required
Open-toe shoes are not allowed
