MRI Technologist
Location
New York, New York
Contract
- 9 weeks
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Schedule
- Wednesday: 9:30 AM–8:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:30 AM–8:00 PM
- Friday: 9:30 AM–8:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate from a school of radiologic technology
- Valid MRI Technologist license in New York
- ARRT (MRI)
- BLS
- MRI Technologist (1 year of experience)
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
Preferred Experience
- 2 years of MRI experience
Role Overview
- Performs MRI imaging procedures
- Positions patients and coils for optimal imaging
- Reviews patient safety questionnaires before MRI scans
- Evaluates image quality and ensures timely transmission and documentation
- Maintains room and equipment cleanliness and safety standards
- Provides patient education related to the procedure
- Assists with clerical, scheduling, and related support tasks as needed
