Angiographer
Overview
- 13-week contract
- Murray, Utah
- Day shift, 4x10 hours
- On-call required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Utah
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- ARRT registration or Vascular/Interventional radiography certification
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS or PALS certification
Role Details
- Prepares patients for exam, verifies orders, and ensures proper patient identification
- Produces quality images and completes required documentation, including time stamps and image storage
- Maintains the work area, stocks supplies, transports patients as needed, and provides patient education and comfort
- May provide procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech
- Works with invasive, diagnostic, and interventional supplies and applies closure devices or sheath removal/pressure for hemostasis as needed
