Supplemental Health Care is a national hiring partner for schools across the United States. We work with districts in more than 24 states to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we’re hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school located in Glendale, Arizona.
Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:
- $50 - $54 an hour
- Speech Language Pathologist needed for the rest of the 2023-24 school year for 40 hours a week.
- The SLP-CCC will be assigned to a caseload of 72 students needing direct services and IEPs.
- Could be working with students who have difficulty swallowing, or students with communication disorders
- SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
- SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
- Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

Requirements:
- Master’s degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor’s degree
- Active Arizona Department of Education (ADE) SLP License
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- American Heart Association BLS
- School Experience is Preferred but not required
- ASHA Certification
