ABSMC-Summit CampusPosition Overview:
Provides high quality care to patients undergoing invasive cardiovascular, vascular and related surgical procedures. Assists radiologist and cardiologist with invasive diagnostic and therapeutic special procedures and maintains and operates equipment required to achieve the best possible radiographic diagnostic images.SIGN ON Bonus: Available to external candidates in accordance with the Sutter Health policy.
Job Description:
EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Associate's: equivalent plus one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy
Cardiovascular Interventional Therapy within 1 Year of hire
ACLS - preferred
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
Two years in the cardiac cath lab and/or Interventional Radiology.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge: Familiar with equipment and supplies used in the cardiovascular and special procedures areas
Familiar with supplies and equipment used during standard and specialized procedures.
Demonstrates a very high level of radiographic accuracy and patient care while accomplishing the desired outcome of the procedure in a timely and efficient manner.
Proficient with digital imaging and magnification techniques and fluoroscopy.

Pay Range is $56.88 to $73.70 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
