Description
Adventist Health Hanford, is one of four medical centers that forms Adventist Health in the Central Valley. This medical center serves the communities of Kings County. It provides the following care services: cancer, diabetes, emergency, cardiac catheterization lab, stroke, inpatient and outpatient surgery, orthopedics, and birthing services which includes a neonatal intensive care unit in partnership with Valley Children's Hospital. Adventist Health Hanford serves the community with 600 physicians, 3,300 associates, and 16 medical residents.
Adventist Health Visalia Medical Clinic is seeking a motivated physical therapist to join our team at our Outpatient Physical Therapy clinic, located in Visalia, CA. Our team includes 2 physical therapists, physical therapy aides and a front office patient care coordinator to help provide high quality care and exceptional patient experiences. Our physical therapists focus on providing the best patient care and outcomes with each physical therapist partnering with their own physical therapy aide to deliver high quality care along with our patient care coordinator to manage patient registrations, authorizations, and scheduling allowing the PTs to spend their time on direct patient care.

Job Summary:
Plans and conducts segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social and mental functions, while meeting department objectives. Serves as co-leader in interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor’s): Required
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- Doctorate Degree: Preferred
- One year of outpatient physical Therapy experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA)
Patient caseload of 14-16 patients/day. Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention. Uses appropriate clinical techniques and tools and establishes individualized treatment plans for patients. Provides therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques. Establishes individualized care and discharge plans and ensures plans are communicated to appropriate parties. Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines. Supervises assigned assistants. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
